Are there trial lessons available?

At LevUp, we believe that every student should be given a fair opportunity in trying out our lessons to discover if it suits their needs.

Hence, the first lesson for every student will be FREE of charge*.

If the student decides to carry on with the lessons for the month, the first lesson's fee WILL be charged.

*This offer cannot be used with other discounts/promotions (e.g. Crash Course promotions. dual-subject promotions).

When are fees collected?

Fees have to be paid by the 2nd week of the month.

Failure to submit fees without a valid reason will result in a penalty of $50.

Is there private tuition available?

Private 1-1 tuition is NOT available for students here at LevUp. We highly recommend the grouped tuition due to its proven effectiveness in promoting shared learning and effective discussions.

We also focus heavily on private 1-1 consultations and catered learning to ensure that every student's needs are well addressed.

Are there make up classes for students who have missed lessons?

If a student is unable to attend class, they need to inform the tutor in advance, with at least 1 day's notice. That said, we do not encourage students to class hop as it may affect the progress of the student.

Make-up lessons can be arranged with the tutor directly. Do notify the tutor the day before or as early as possible.

Will there be a refund of fees if I am unable to attend the make-up lesson?

All fees paid are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.

If a student is unable to attend class, a replacement class or recording may be scheduled.

I signed up late into the year, will the tutor be able to cover everything I have missed out so far?

Due to the fast progression and nature of the A Levels and O Levels, it will be difficult for the tutor to reteach the entire syllabus to students who may have joined late (e.g. close to the exams). Hence, we recommend the student to arrange private consultations with the tutor separately to clarify their doubts and cover the specific parts of the syllabus which they may have missed out.

Are there online lessons available?

Yes and No. As far as possible we will schedule most classes to be physical lessons due to its proven effectiveness.

As we understand an increasing number of students are becoming more comfortable with the online setting, there may be several classes which have online options, however, there will be no change in fees as the quality of lessons will remain the same.

Do check in with the tutor or the schedule for updates.

I am currently on the MOE Financial Assistance Scheme, am I able to get subsidies on fees at LevUp?

Yes! Financially needy students are eligible for our FAS subsidised fees, feel free to check in with the tutors for the subsidised rates.

A copy of proof of the Financial Assistance Scheme provided by MOE is required.
